Step by Step School is an independent school based on the outskirts of East Grinstead for pupils aged 4-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

Complete an application form making sure you have a good look at the website to help understand our mission and values. 

Please call us for a friendly chat about the role.  

On the day:

  • Bring your original ID with you.
  • Getting to know the classes – you will visit a number of classes across the school to get to know our pupils.  This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role. 
  • Written task – we will ask for you to do a write up of what you saw in class.  Only a short brief.  We’re not looking to check your spelling! 
  • Panel interview – Meet some of the Senior Leadership Team to share your experience in previous roles and for them to ask you some questions.  It a chance to really sell yourself and is your moment.  Go for it!
